Myles has had over six years’ experience working with vulnerable individuals through disability support and youth work positions. In these work roles Myles has provided mental, emotional and spiritual support for many people suffering from post-traumatic stress (PTS), grief and loss, schizophrenia, anxiety and depression. Additionally, Myles has supported many victims of trauma and suffering of grief and loss through three years of hospital employment including Emergency department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Rehab.
Myles uses a holistic approach to counselling which is strengths based, and predominantly incorporates person centred therapy, cognitive
behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
From personal experiences with mental illness and supporting close community friends through addiction, Myles has developed a passion
for supporting those suffering mental health challenges through a highly empathetic and non-judgmental approach.
