It has been my aim to continue my education through embracing how to include the body and the nervous system in the therapeutic space to support regulation and creating safety. This has led me to seek more understanding of the intersection of body and mind and what influences safety and to learn how to include creative and somatic approaches in my practice. I’ve recently trained and implemented Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping). Tapping is a versatile approach that can be adapted for groups, children and adults and has a strong evidence based for it’s support with nervous system integration and building on safety and broadening perception.
