Aadhyaa is a registered mental health counsellor who brings with her a multicultural and linguistically diverse background. Aadhyaa deeply values unconditional acceptance, respect and personal autonomy towards all clients, and adopts a trauma-informed, queer affirmative, person centered approach that seeks to both understand and empower each client in their individuality.
Areas of special interest to Aadhyaa include attachment wounds and relationship issues, sexual trauma, anxiety, career/work related stress, grief, depression, bipolar, and substance use. Aadhyaa also works with people experiencing other mental health problems. Finally, Aadhyaa is experienced in group therapy and couples counselling.
Aadhyaa’s training includes a BA (Hons.) in Psychology from Ashoka University, Masters of Counselling from Monash University, and holds certification in Clinical Trauma. Aadhyaa recognises the value of continued professional development and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Mindfulness and Presence Oriented Psychotherapy jointly offered by Tata Institute Of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Just Being Center, Pune.
